You’ve got your beach Wedding favors sorted out, snatched a bargain designer number off Ebay, and checked the weather reports. Now there’s beach Wedding cakes to look at.. Follow my tips where I share some great ideas.

The first thing I like to do is look at pictures of the location you’re getting married at to get some ideas. Here’s a tip: Phone the hotel and ask them to send you some (This usually isn’t a problem). For example, a lighthouse nearby or a row of palm trees can be a leaping pad for ideas and can be little decorations on your cake.

Use your Hobbies to Design Your Cake..
What’s your hubby-2-be interested in..? Does he like water sports? If he does, why not have a cake with the bride and groom surfing the crest of a wave on top of it? Don’t stop there though - look through pictures of other beach Wedding cakes and pick out some of the favorites that jump out at you.

Here’s another tip: keep them in a scrapbook to use later. What I did at my beach Wedding was get the vendor to use the same flowers in my bouquet on our iced cake. We had the same flowers as motifs on our beach Wedding invitations as well. It’s a GREAT way to tie things in.
