If you are finding it difficult to start your vows or you want it to be more poetic, you can always start with a poem that you both love or with a quote that you think puts all your feelings together. So many talented people have already written words to describe how they feel about their love. You can use words from a song to give you the inspiration you require.

If you have a more poetic turn, write your vows in the form of a poem or a song and serenade your partner with it.

You can also choose to make your vows more personal to the two of you buy leaving little notes for your partner throughout the previous day, allowing them to culminate in your vows. These notes could just be feelings that you want to express or pleasant anecdotes that you want to remind your partner of.

Remember though, if at the altar, you suddenly feel that all that you have written is insufficient and you want to say something else, go for it! Your vows are always best when they come from deep within you.
